These Terms of Business apply to all services provided by Vita Reiki (“the Practitioner”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By booking or paying for a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. Services
We offer holistic wellness sessions including Reiki treatments and related energy‑balancing practices. All services are designed to support relaxation, self‑healing, and overall wellbeing. Reiki is a complementary therapy and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical care or treatment. You should always consult your doctor or other healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns.
2. Client Responsibilities
- Please arrive punctually for your appointment. Sessions that begin late due to late arrival may still need to finish at the scheduled time.
- Clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, allergies, or communicable/notifiable diseases prior to treatment. This ensures your safety and the wellbeing of all clients and the practitioner.
- Clients must not attend a session if under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. If intoxication is suspected, the session will not proceed, and no refund or credit will be issued.
- Reiki is an energy-based therapy; results vary for each individual and cannot be guaranteed.
3. Fees and Payment
- Payment is required at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include Bank Transfer and PayPal. Session rates are displayed on our website or are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms of Business.
4a. Cancellation Policy
See 4b for Reiki Share cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Client:
- Cancellations received with more than 48 hours or more notice can either receive refund less actual transaction costs (~3% ) or a 100% credit note valid for 4 weeks from the original appointment date.
- Cancellations received within less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours notice can either receive a 50% refund less actual transaction costs (~3%) or a 50% credit note valid for 4 weeks from the original appointment date.
- Cancellations made with or less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund or credit if unless we are able to fill the time slot.
- Sessions that are cancelled by the client for second time are subject to a credit note at our discretion.
Cancellation by Practitioner:
- If we need to cancel or reschedule your booking, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
4b. Cancellation Policy – Reiki Shares
Cancellation by Client:
- Cancellations received with more than 48 hours or more notice can either receive refund less actual transaction costs (~3%) or agree to a credit note for a future share
- Cancellations received within less than 48 notice are not eligible for a refund or credit if unless we are able to fill the time slot with another participant.
Cancellation by Practitioner:
- You will offered either a full refund or the option to attend the next scheduled share.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
All information shared during sessions is treated in the strictest confidence. For details on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
While Reiki and holistic therapies are generally safe, participation is at your own discretion. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or claim to cure any condition. Vita Reiki accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury, except where required by law.
7. Complaints/Grievance Process
If you have any grievance or complaint about your experience with Vita Reiki, please raise it with us directly in the first instance after your session or by using the contact details on this website; we will listen carefully, aim to resolve matters promptly and fairly, and, if you remain dissatisfied after this, you may seek independent advice about your options.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Business are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
